August 2008.. We've adopted the 356th based in Lake Wales, Florida. There are 124 soldiers attached to this unit and they are currently stationed overseas. We will be starting our collection drive shortly - so think about what you can do to help show these soldiers our love and support!

February 2008.. Girl Scout troop 173 out of Oak Ridge, NC collected donations of Girl Scout Cookies at their cookie sales booths. We shipped the GS cookies out the beginning of March to 2 different units stationed overseas.

12:19:07... The unit sent a thank you letter to all the volunteers that helped send them holiday goodies. Click here to read letter

11:08:07... Bear Rock Cafe @ Carolina Mall in Concord, NC allowed us to set up a booth with 10% of the daily proceeds to go towards sending packages to our troops!

10:23:07... The 2nd annual Operation: Send a Taste of Home is in full gear.
