Brief summary of 2010 Outreach (please see 2010 Outreach for more details)

• Unit:  2-116th Field Artillery Regiment. Soldiers are based in Lakeland, Dade City, Bartow and Winter Haven. 
• Number of Soldiers:  350+

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

I am excited to post that we were able to send out a 2nd package to the 2-116th this year! Thanks to Victory Church Lakeland along with everyone in the congregation - we were able to ship 910 pounds of home-baked cookies!  Veterans Day cards were made by the students at Victory Academy, and coffee was donated by Starbucks (Indiana) and local friends. Unbelievably -- 910 pounds later...The 2-116th was able to share some of the cookies with other soldiers outside of their brigade.  THANK YOU to Victory Church!!!

 

All packages (600+ lbs worth) made it to the 2-116th in time for July 4th!
